Entrepreneur Manoj Bhargava unexpectedly found himself a billionaire with the runaway success of an energy drink product. Possessing more money than he could ever hope to spend on himself, he set out to discover ways in which his wealth could assist him in making a meaningful and lasting difference in the world. Billions in Change shows the fruits of these efforts.
Led by Manoj Bhargava, who describes himself as a student of simple, a small group of crazy tinkerers have refined and perfected simple, decentralized solutions for fundamental global issues of water, energy (both at household and macro level) and health, backed with mass production technology and with a strong focus on keeping things simple and easily maintainable, such that they empower the beneficiaries without creating dependency.
