Hopegirl, and How to Fix the World

Hi Friends,

I've been reading and watching this blog and its associated sites recently..

Collaborative business models,
open source,
community / tribe-like living-nearby of like-minded people and shared spaces,
spirituality + alternative healing etc,
taking power back into the hands of the people,
and.. free energy technology research ~!~

ALL combined.
And they're only into this since 1 to 2 years. The lady whose nickname
is "HopeGirl" has done a terrific job of communicating everything
that's going on and putting everything in context. From all their
broadcasts I've been checking out, they're seeming to be pushing all
the right buttons and I feel they're really on to something awesome.

I've linked to the book she wrote that sparked it all.. "How To Fix the World".

So check it out!

Quote on Law and Order

"Law and order exist for the purpose of establishing justice [but] when they fail in this purpose they become the dangerously structured dams that block the flow of social progress."

Article: The Man Who Creates Artificial Glaciers To Meet The Water Needs Of Ladakh

Maharashtra govt arresting protesters

"Over 50 people were arrested outside the Wankhede stadium yesterday where the new BJP State government celebrated its election victory. The protest was against the brutal massacre of a young Dalit man and both his parents. They were hacked to death and their bodies chopped into pieces and thrown into a well. The reason? The boy had dared to have a relationship with a Maratha (upper caste) girl. Her family now in BJP also had ties with NCP and Shiv Sena. The police has made no arrests. The new BJP government elect is absolutely silent.

The protest lasted only a few minutes before the police swooped in. By the time we joined the protestors they had already been whisked away. We went to the Yellow gate police chowky where they were taken. The guards at the gate denied they were brought there at all. On being told that they could not tell such lies to us they admitted that the protesters were inside but they had been asked to keep it quiet.

The next days English press was equally silent. The Times of India carried glowing reports on the Wankhede function but not one line on the protest and arrest.

All the news thats fit to print?"

Reforms or loot?

""Industrialists want free land before investing in Punjab. Is this what is meant by reforms? And if this is reform please tell me what is loot. Among those who want free land in Punjab are: Siemens, Kansai Nerolac, Mahindra & Mahindra, Glaxo Smithkline, Infosys, Herman Finochem. Sanofi Pharma and Maico India. They want free land on the same pattern as Punjab's deputy Chief Minister Sukhbir Singh Badal had sometimes back given 70 acres of land to International School of Business just for one rupee. Apollo Hospital in New Delhi similarly had got 15 aces of land in the heart of the city for Re 1/acre. The list is endless. In other words, it means reforms is another word to justify the loot of natural or financial resources. But if you give subsidies to the poor and hungry, these are termed as socialist and therefore anti-reform. So subsidies for the rich are reforms but subsidies for the poor are wasteful expenditure/dole. Reforms means only the rich should be subsidised.

Sometimes back I had written a blog on policy paralysis. When industries don't get freebies, they yell at the top of their voice calling it as policy paralysis.""

Neutrality means refusing to believe both True and False

Neutrality doesn't mean claiming a thing as false merely on the premise that we don't have sufficient evidence to say it's true. Where is the convincing evidence to say it's false? Even that needs proving. Calling it false means adopting an opinion just the same as calling it true means. Neutrality means you refuse to say either True or False; and are open to exploring both angles or if not that then leaving it unjudged.

Video : Anti-GM field trial protest at Rahuri, MH
Anti-GM protest and visit at Rahuri, MH where field trials are going on in an agri university without proper oversight. This video by Vasudha Nirmitee group covers the whole event, incl explaining the issue in detail, in Hindi language (which I'm seeing for the first time)

One surprising thing in the video : The pro-GM morcha that came as a counter to this one.. was accusing this group of being agents of pesticide companies. Knowing personally how deeply most of the members of the anti-GM group are involved in organic farming and how they are originally anti-pesticide, that was so funny! I think that stark reality ought to be brought out further : it's hard evidence that the pro-GM morcha was a fake one.

Non Vaccinating Pediatrician Shares Her Experience

To my friends, I know you want to be on the safe side. My only question is : do you know exactly which side is the safe one? How much time have you spent finding out?

Evanston, IL physician Toni Bark has been an MD since 1986. Back then, she was "quite upset" when she saw a child that was unvaccinated.  Of course she hadn't really been taught anything about the vaccine schedule or side effects.  She had merely been told that kids have to be vaccinated.  In the early 90's, Dr. Bark went back to school and studied "classical homeopathy."  Since then, she sees medicine and especially vaccines, in a whole new light.

Dr. Bark has seen the damage that vaccines can cause because a number of the families she has in her practice come to her because their first child suffered a vaccine reaction and they didn't want to vaccinate their other children.

"What I notice is that children who come to me from other practices where they've been fully vaccinated often are--well they are the kids in my practice with asthma, panic disorder, OCD, pandas, autism, Asperger's.  My kids who've never been vaccinated in my practice, I don't see those issues.  I don't have one child who was not vaccinated who also has asthma, food allergies, or Asperger's or autism, or Crohn's or ulcerative colitis-none of these chronic, either chronic inflammatory or chronic autoimmune diseases..

I don't have that in my population that never was vaccinated-or even that was probably vaccinated very delayed and selectively. But often those kids are in families where the first child was vaccinated fully and there was a vaccine reaction, so the parents decided not to.

"I can only make comments about my own patient population.  I can say in my patient population, the kids with chronic illness are the kids who were vaccinated.  And the kids that weren't vaccinated, I don't have any of those children on medications.  None of them have chronic illness. I can't think of one that has any kind of chronic illness. Not one.

"I hear very similar stories.  I have to believe the parents when-in twenty years, I've probably had a few hundred families come to me and tell me a very similar story.  Which is, their first child received vaccinations, whether it was at birth or whether it was two months in, or whether it was six months in-at some point they received a round of vaccinations where they had high pitched screaming, fever, arching the back, and they were never the same. ."

Dr. Bark noted that some parents even had videos showing the obvious behavior changes before and after vaccinations.
"I don't understand how people can say that's not true or it's coincidental when there are so many parents with the same story.  And these are not parents who are anti-vaccine. These are parents who didn't even question the schedule or anything. They just let the doctors give the kids the vaccines on schedule."
Dr. Bark recounted how back when she was a resident in the emergency room, parents would bring in their children with febrile seizures and arching backs, and "they had been in the vaccine clinic that day or the day before."

Dr. Bark said, "A lot of physicians are really, really in the dark about policy, how vaccines are made, how the advisory committees work, the actual history on how small pox was eradicated, the actually history on the first several attempts on the polio vaccine. We kind of tend to rewrite history to make it look like pharmaceuticals saved the day and vaccines saved the day and when you take a closer look, that's actually not really the reality.

"That's kind of where I'm at now that I really look at things closely and question them because I know that you cannot believe the mantra coming from, I hate to say it, our regulatory agencies, because they have been captured. The mantra from the CDC, I always question because I know better now.  They might be telling the truth, but they might not be,.

"In my practice, and that's all I can speak for, children with Crohn's and ulcerative colitis and asthma and Asperger's and autism and pandas, have all been vaccinated. And my unvaccinated population, which is several hundred, if not maybe a few thousand, I don't have one autistic kid in that group."

We often hear the call for a comparison study looking at health outcomes of fully vaccinated and never vaccinated children.  We also need to talk to the doctors who either don't vaccinate their patients or don't vaccinate according to the ever-expanding vaccine schedule.

And the issue isn't just looking for autism in these patients. We need to examine their total health picture.  We need to ask, is an unchecked, unsafe vaccine schedule making our kids sick?

Here is a discussion between Dr. Sherri Tenpenny and Dr. Bark regarding the movie, Bought.

PM's Mann ki Baat

While we appreciate that bowing to the demand of people, Prime Minister spoke on the issue of black money, what he said on the issue was very disappointing. During his election campaign Mr. Modi was quoting exact figures of black money stashed away in foreign accounts. Not just that, he had been claiming that once the money came back, all Indians would get 15 lakh rupees each. His party president Mr. Rajnath Singh had promised to bring back all the black money stashed away in foreign bank accounts in hundred days. From Mr. Subramanian Swami to Baba Ramdev, all his supporters and campaigners had claimed they had "exact" figure of the black money in foreign accounts. It is shocking that in today's address Mr. Modi said that he had no clue how much money was deposited in illegal bank accounts abroad. He also said that he did not know what the road map would be.What surprises us is the fact that when the BJP was out of power it claimed to have all the information as well as figures, and from inflation to black money, it had a road map for everything . And after assuming power the party and its Prime Minister claim that they have no figures, no road map.

India's environment at risk:
" No doubt India's laws and regulations merit reform, and the government needs investment to kick-start the energy and other infrastructure developments the country needs so badly. But Mr. Modi should heed the strong message from the courts that gutting environmental protection laws and demonizing citizen groups that raise legitimate concerns are no way to move the nation forward."

Moradabad, UP: 2 muslim youths died trying to save a hindu girl who had fallen into an open sewer pit

Ashish Khetan: After watching the visuals from Madison square and White House, do watch this documentary as well. I have seen it dozens of times. And I could never spot a Muslim or a Hindu in the film. I could only see poor and despairing victims and savage, godless criminals. I could only see innocent childhood scarred by forces of hate. I could only see helpless women ravaged by bestiality. I could see my own mother, my sister, my daughter in the frames. And I could see the brutal chief of a bloodthirsty mob. Let me know if you could spot a leader in the rousing oratory of hate, a good Hindu in the rioting mob and a bad Muslim in a half-burnt corpse.

Water is the new oil: How corporations took over a basic human right
"to just divert more water doesn't make any sense. We need a new model that isn't about urbanization, that doesn't support megacities, basically. And we need to stop thinking we can somehow reroute water to some giant megacity because that's not happening around the world. It's just getting more and more and more expensive, so we've got to start thinking about the cost of all of this. There are some movements in architecture like the re-localization movement, which is about de-urbanization and about building compact, sustainable walking cities. And so there are tons of ideas for how we can do things differently, but I think we need to move people, not water."

Water glider / water skipper : personal cycle-like vehicle that floats and drives over water. Driver has to hop up and down to drive the vehicle.

Patent document of a fuel-less sea-glider, which copies the techniques of sea mammals like dolphins to use their muscles to shrink their bodies and compress the inhaled air, becoming heavier then water and get pulled down, and forward (gliding); and then at a depth they release their muscles, enlarging their bodies, becoming lighter, and so are pushed up, and glide forward too.
So, rather than expend energy in continuously propelling an object forward, once can simply use a much smaller amount of energy to compress/expand the object and thus be propelled forward by gravity and buoyancy.

Ebola treatment : Blood transfusion from ebola survivors is helping cure other patients of same blood type, to reinforce their blood with the antibodies that have been successful in countering the virus. but is being unreported and even discouraged officially. US's first victim's family has also expressed anger about him being denied blood transfusion.
These blood transfusions are being highly valued by people and medical personnel on the ground in the affected countries.
Another doctor who got cured in Africa like this and then returned to US, is going to "pay it forward" and give his blood to an NBC cameraman who has contracted the disease.
The experimental drugs being used to try and cure from Ebola, also use the same strategy, of re-inforcing the patient's blood with more antibodies, but with artificial patented antibodies made in a much more complicated way.
It has a 80% cure rate, as opposed to Ebola's 80% kill rate.
This kind of turns the tables : Similar to how the disease can spread, even the cure can be spread from human to human via blood transfusion!
The official agenices are coming out against it, because this is a natural cure.

Mainstream Media Covers Up Possible Life Saving Ebola Treatment
Dr. Kent Brantley and others who have contracted Ebola have been eager to receive and to pass on blood from survivors of Ebola.  He received blood plasma antibodies from a patient he treated in Africa that survived.  After Dr. Brantley survived, he donated plasma antibodies to the next American doctor to be infected, Dr. Sacra who also recovered.  Brantley has also donated blood to two others who are still fighting Ebola: Ashoka Kukpo, the NBC cameraman, and Nina Pham the first Dallas nurse to contract the disease.
Brantley is not the only medical worker who appears to believe the treatment is effective.  Will Pooley, the British nurse who survived Ebola, flew to Atlanta to offer his blood and a Spanish Ebola survivor flew to Spain to give her blood to a Spanish priest with Ebola, but arrived too late.
In Africa, demand for survivors' blood has created a "black market" that the World Health Organization (WHO) says needs to be shut down with help from governments.
